Paragraph 1 now specifies that the information eligible for incorporation by reference is information that is to be included in a prospectus under the Regulation and its delegated acts, and point (a) now adds a reference to a universal registration document or any sections of it, while point (b) updates the cross-references to Article 1(4) and Article 1(5), and point (f) now refers to management reports under Chapters 5 and 6 of Directive 2013/34/EU including sustainability reporting, dropping the earlier footnote citation of that Directive's date and title.
Two new paragraphs, 1a and 1b, have been added: paragraph 1a allows information not required to be included in a prospectus to nonetheless be incorporated by reference voluntarily under the same conditions, and paragraph 1b addresses the treatment of new annual or interim financial information published while a base prospectus remains valid, including the option to incorporate it by reference or to voluntarily publish a supplement.
