Amended by Regulation (EU) 2024/2809 32024R2809
applies from: unknown
Sources disagree, and there is no text on either side — the amending act's instructions found this change; the text comparison finds no difference in the provision's text and the EU's own amendment metadata does not list it. All are shown; none is overruled.
No explanation shipped — the structural diff did not see this change, so it carries no text; another signal named the unit and the disagreement ships marked disputed.
text before / after
No text on either side: this unit was named by a signal that carries no text, and only the structural diff carries any.

Amended by Regulation (EU) 2024/2809 32024R2809
applies from: unchanged
The definition numbered (35) for investment recommendations now ends with a semicolon rather than a full stop, and a new point (36) has been added defining systematic internaliser by reference to Article 4(1), point (20), of Directive 2014/65/EU.
This new point (36) did not appear in the earlier version of Article 3(1)(1).

Amended by Regulation (EU) 2016/1011 32016R1011 · Regulation (EU) 2016/1033 32016R1033
applies from: unchanged
Sources disagree about what is listed, not about the text — the text comparison found this change; the EU's own amendment metadata does not list it. Both are shown; neither is overruled.
In point (d) of Article 3(1)(26), the phrase listing conditions for a legal person, trust or partnership to count as closely associated was changed by inserting the word "or" before "which is directly or indirectly controlled by such a person" and again before "which is set up for the benefit of such a person", turning the previously comma-separated list into a list joined by "or".
