Amendment of Regulation (EU) No 648/2012
Regulation (EU) No 648/2012 is amended as follows:
(1) the following Chapter is added in Title IV:

The wording of the inserted Chapter 4 provisions is essentially the same in both versions, but formatting and spacing of the KCCP, PCEred and DF formulas and their surrounding symbols have been altered, with mathematical operators and subscript markers removed or run together in the later text.
Minor typographical changes also appear elsewhere, such as the spacing in the OJ citation reference, without any change to the substantive rules on calculation, reporting or the transitional treatment in Article 89(5a).

In the inserted Article 50a(1), the wording changed from applying only where a CCP has received the notification referred to in Article 301(2)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 to applying without any reference to that notification, and Article 50a(2) gained a new sentence specifying that all values in the KCCP formula relate to the valuation at the end of the day before the margin called on the final margin call of that day is exchanged.
In the inserted Article 89(5a), the cross-references to the regulatory technical standards were changed from a general reference to eleven regulatory technical standards described at the end of paragraphs 3's subparagraphs to specific lists of standards under Articles 16, 25, 26, 29, 34, 41, 42, 44, 45, 47 and 49 (with Article 25 omitted in the second subparagraph), and wording describing the extension of the deadlines and the reporting condition for CCPs without a default fund was reworded, including changing the phrase describing the CCP's information obligation and adding a reference to a fourth subparagraph.
