Applies from: no date changed

Explanation, written by a model and checked against the cited text

Paragraph 1 now references Parts Two, Three, Four, Seven and Seven A instead of Parts Two to Four and Part Seven, and adds an exception for point (d) of Article 430(1).

Paragraph 2, which previously addressed institutions controlled by a parent financial holding company or mixed financial holding company and their consolidated obligations under Parts Two to Four and Part Seven, has been replaced with new wording extending the terms institution, parent institution in a Member State, EU parent institution and parent undertaking to certain financial holding companies, mixed financial holding companies and designated institutions or entities described in points (a), (b) and (c), together with rules on whose consolidated situation applies to the undertakings in points (b) and (c).

Paragraph 4, formerly concerned with the central body under Article 10, is now a new provision on EU parent institutions complying with Part Six and point (d) of Article 430(1) on a consolidated basis, including a liquidity sub-group rule, while the former paragraph 4 content on the central body now appears as paragraph 5 with an added reference to Chapter 2 of Regulation (EU) 2017/2402, and the former paragraph 5 on structurally separated institutions now appears as paragraph 6 with its obligation extended to Parts Two to Eight and its reference to "structurally separated institutions" changed to "an institution".
